Quality

Starts with our commitment to the details of each project, listening and understanding the expectations and vision of each client, knowing the design, effectively communicating with the team, and executing the build. Each project incorporates a design / CD review to confirm that the specs and submittals match the planned design. Each permit plan set is reviewed in detail against the pre-permit plan set to discover any discrepancies and ensure team adherence to approved design details.

Quality starts during the design phase of the project, and a thorough design check is employed with CDRM for constructability and adherence to Owner intent and value engineering, and with the Owner, stakeholders, Design Team. Existing conditions are confirmed in person twice. CDRM’s superintendents and supervising project managers are widely experienced and provide live, in person, real time review of construction against the design plan and CD’s.

Schedule

We acknowledge that project schedules have a major impact on you and the client to start generating revenue, which makes them of utmost importance to us. We spend quality time with every project on the front end to generate a project schedule that puts the client’s goals first.

Budgeting

As a practice, we look to value engineer and avoid overages to build the most cost-effective project without sacrificing the intent of the design. Change orders can unsettle everyone’s process. We proactively watch to avoid the excessive need for change orders and communicate transparently from start to finish.

Safety

Safety could be at the top of every page. The safety and wellbeing of our team, your future tenants, all who will interact with your project and your space, are of paramount worth to us. Site safety at CDRM is constant, current practice, and maintained it at the top of CDRM’s priority and focus. Our superintendents have OHSA 30 hour certification and project managers have a minimum of OSHA 10 hour training, maintain current education, and hold safety as there first and most important job by requiring our contracted trade and supervision teams to adhere to current OSHA standards, their internal own safety protocols, and CDRM’s safety program. Superintendents perform daily safety checks and weekly safety team education. Projects have written identified safety risks that the supervising team identifies and monitors. It is of the upmost importance that every person on our projects goes home to their loved ones safe and confident they will return each day to a safe, clean and organized work environment.
